Matthew has a wide range of experience in civil litigation matters. His background is in commercial litigation with an emphasis on property litigation. Since joining Churchers from a central London practice, he has helped to build up the commercial litigation side of the Department.
He has built up niche practices in commercial property and construction litigation as well as in the area of boundary disputes. Matthew Bailey has successfully taken many complicated disputes to Trial, both in the High Court and County Courts.
In addition to his commercial litigation experience, he has considerable expertise in most other areas of civil disputes including personal injury claims, fatal accident claims, contested probates and inheritance claims, professional negligence claims, landlord and tenant disputes, contract claims, personal and corporate insolvency.
