Five members of the Churchers team recently headed to Southampton to take part in the annual charity Legal Walk organised by London Legal Support Trust.
Sarah Coates, Tom Couch, Eliza Watts and Sarah Hallet completed an impressive 10k throughout Southampton. They set off from the Southampton Courts and finished at the local barristers’ courts, greeted by refreshments at the finish line.
Every year the Legal Walk raises money for London Legal Support Trust which provides free legal advice services for people throughout the region, ensuring justice is accessible to everyone no matter their circumstances.
Sarah Hallett said: “We had such a fun evening walking around Southampton and chatting to solicitors from other Hampshire law firms. We believe it’s really important to raise money London Legal Support Trust so everyone is able to access legal advice services.
“London Legal Support Trust is extremely important because it ensures people can access the legal support, advice, and representation they need, irrespective of their financial position. For Churchers, it is important that we are supporting everyone who may need our help within our community.
“The weather was great so it made the walk all the more pleasant. I definitely enjoyed the pizza that was kindly provided by College Chambers afterwards!”
The team have participated in the walk for several years and look forward to taking part again in the years to come.
