John qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and joined the criminal defence team at Churchers in 2017 as a criminal solicitor and Higher Rights Advocate. With over 20 years experience in all aspects of criminal law, John has represented clients at police stations and courts throughout the South East of England.

His experience includes looking after defendants' interests who find themselves in police custody, plea or sentence advice and fighting clients' corner at trial. If need be mitigating on client’s behalf and representing defendants in all aspects of criminal defence in Magistrates Courts, Crown Courts and the Court of Appeal.

John's work is supervised by senior members of the team.
