Firm Management

Ian holds a diploma in business studies and also gained a diploma in Magisterial Law in 1984.  He qualified as a solicitor in 1987, and has been with the firm since 1992.

Ian is a highly experienced and well respected criminal lawyer. He became a partner in 1996, and was elected Managing Partner in 2006.

Under Ian’s leadership, the firm’s Criminal Department grew to be one of the largest in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Since 2006 he has dedicated his time to managing the firm and developing the strategy of providing quality legal advice from high street premises.

Although he lives on the mainland, Ian maintains close links with the Island having spent his formative years living in Ryde.

Ian is also the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice.

  • Ian’s interests include skiing, gardening, DIY, classic British motor cars and sailing, along with his grandchildren who keep him busy.
