Simon qualified as a solicitor in 1987 has been a criminal advocate locally ever since. He has been a member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme for over thirty years. He has experience of both prosecuting and defending cases. Simon’s Higher Rights of Audience qualification allows him to appear in both magistrates and Crown Courts.

Additionally, he has experience in matrimonial, child law, prison law and mental health work having at one time been a member of the Mental Health Panel.

His work is supervised by senior colleagues with the team.
