Law firm Managing Partner hands over the reins 30 years to the day after he joined the firm
Churchers Solicitors has today announced the retirement of Managing Partner Ian Robinson, as of 30th March 2022.
Ian, who began his legal career in 1976, joined the Hampshire based solicitors firm on 30th March, 1992 to set up a dedicated criminal defence team working out of the Cosham office. He was then offered Partnership in 1996 before being elected Managing Partner in 2006.
During his time at the firm he has negotiated mergers with three local law firms, expanded to the Isle of Wight and grown the team to the 125 strong staff it is today.
Ian always maintained the firms’ close links with Hampshire Law Society having held the positions of President, Treasurer and currently Secretary.

“My final announcement as Managing Partner is to introduce Andrew Bryan as the newly elected Managing Partner at Churchers Solicitors. Andrew has been a driving force for the firm since he joined as a trainee in 1993. It is a pleasure to have seen him progress his career over the years and I know Churchers will be in very safe hands moving forward.”
Partner since 2001, Andrew Bryan, specialises in contentious probate and employment disputes and will take over as Managing Partner on 1st April 2022.
