Criminal Defence

Sarah joined the firm permanently in 2013 as a trainee solicitor, but had spent three years working at the firm during a vacation from university. She has always had a keen interest in criminal defence and developed this throughout her training before qualifying as a solicitor, and taking a position working  in the Criminal Department in 2015.

In 2016, she was awarded Hampshire Law Society Junior Solicitor of the Year Award with support from a local District Judge.

Sarah now undertakes all aspects of work within the Criminal Department including representation at the police station and advocacy at the Magistrates Court. She is also an accredited member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme.

Her work is supervised by senior colleagues in the department.
