Stephen joined the firm in August 2025 as an associate solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Department, based in our Fareham and Lee-on-Solent offices.

Stephen was admitted as a solicitor in November 2002 and has extensive experience of litigation matters including professional negligence claims involving architects, surveyors, legal professionals, and accountants.

Stephen also has experience of commercial contract disputes, building and boundary disputes and general civil and commercial claims involving shareholders and directors, software package disputes and motor vehicles. Stephen has also undertaken contentious probate disputes involving the provisions of wills and the entitlements of beneficiaries.

Stephen has acted for both Claimants and Defendants and has successfully resolved many high value disputes, up to a value of £800,000. Stephen is familiar with the High Court process and many of his claims have been allocated to the Multi-Track of the High Court.

Stephen is a strong believer in the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods of resolving disputes and has settled many claims by the process of mediation.
