The United Kingdom has one of the oldest and most respected Criminal Justice systems in the world.
Despite that, sometimes things go wrong at court, and you find yourself convicted of a crime you did not commit.
We offer professional and experienced advice as to whether you have any grounds to appeal against conviction.
If you have been convicted in the Magistrates Court you can appeal to the Crown Court by filing a notice of appeal against conviction.
If you have been convicted in the Crown Court you can apply to the Court of Appeal for leave to appeal against conviction to a Single Judge, if leave is granted your appeal is then heard by the Court of Appeal Criminal Division.
The team at Churchers are experienced in providing advice on appeal and will also instruct experienced counsel where appropriate.
Whilst there is some limited legal aid available for appeals we do not undertake appeals where you have been represented by another firm on legal aid as it does not allow us to spend the time and apply the necessary care and expertise.
We will indicate fees for an initial opinion based on the amount of material to be considered.
If you feel that you have been wrongly convicted we are here to help you, please call us on 02392 820747.
